Continuation of the visit of the Ark of Refuge, which began on January 14. The birds (herons and the stork) are in semi captivity. It's not really a photographic operators to be able to take close-up and approach them. Some birds such as IBIS qe you can see on the blog Axelle (http://axellephotoblog.blogspot.com/) are even true followers. They are waiting for peanuts! Indeed it was cold during our visit on December 23, water basins was frozen. The stork has slowly tested the strength of the layer of ice to approach the edge and drinking.

Thank you for your comments, please forgive me for not taking the time to lay it on your blogs, but I am overloaded with work.

What lovely bird shots!! Sorry you are so busy. Life does get in the way sometimes. I found that last summer. I just had to leave blogland and look after "life" for awhile.

These are nice photos of the birds but I thought they were wild or free range. Are they in captivity?

Your photos of the birds are magnificent, Laurent. Peanuts! Our magpies love peanuts too.
