En réponse à Olivier...ceci est le système de chauffage au gaz qui permet de réchauffer les personnes qui viennent assister à la messe.
Vu la hauteur du bâtiment la chaleur ayant tendance à monter il fait relativement froid au sol.
Cette chaleur additionnelle est très appréciable pendant les messes lorsque les journées sont froides. Et comme là remarqué Alain j'ai trouvé moi aussi que la forme du système donnait un certain charme...je suis allé jusqu'à en faire un gros plan.

In response to Olivier ... this is the gas heating system which warm people who come to attend the celebration.
Given the height of the building heat tending to rise it is relatively cold at the ground.
This additional heat is very valuable for celebration when the days are cold. As Alain noticed I also found that the shape of the system gave a certain charm ... so a made a close up of it.

Il y a 4 églises dans la ville de Château-Gontier-Bazouges. Chacune a un style particulier et une atmosphère différente. St Remi est la plus grande et la plus imposante. Mais c'est la chaleur de la lumière que j'apprécie le plus dans cette église.

There are 4 churches in the town of Chateau-Gontier-Bazouges. Each has a particular style and a different atmosphere. St Remi is the largest and most impressive. But it is the warm light that I appreciate most in this church.

Quand il y a quelques semaines je suis parti faire des photos dans les rues de Château-Gontier, je suis passé à l'église Saint Rémi (voir les photos d'hier). Sur le coté de l'église dans le parc j'ai tout de suite repéré cet arbre et son tronc très découpé. En le voyant j'ai aussitôt deviné comment j'allais vous le montrer et son rendu très graphique en noir et blanc...qu'en pensez-vous ?

When a few weeks ago I went to take photos in the streets of Chateau-Gontier, I went to church Saint Rémi (see photos yesterday). On the side of the church in the park I immediately spotted the tree trunk with so sharp parts. I immediately guessed how I was going to show you and made it very graphic black and white ... what do you think about it ?

L'arbre n'est pas dans le cadre mais il est juste sur ma droite...pour ceux qui veulent se rendre compte sur place.

The tree is not in the framework but it is just on my right ... for those who want to see it.

Ce montage est réalisé à partir des sculptures présentes sur le parvis de l'église Saint Rémi à Chateau-Gontier. A partir du parvis 3 portes permettent de pénétrer dans l'église.
Une porte principale et deux portes plus petites sur les cotés. Face à l'église la porte de droite est ornée de 2 têtes de femmes, porte de gauche de 2 têtes d'hommes.

This assembly is made from sculptures on the front of the church of Saint Rémi to Chateau-Gontier. You can enter into the church by front doors .
A main door and two smaller doors on the sides. The right side door is decorated with 2 heads of women, left door of 2 heads of men.

Do you prefer this picture in B&W or in colour ?

In Château Gontier all th streets light are with a very orange color....so you have to change the white balance on your camera....
The big white point is the moon....the blue point ...I don't know that it is....

I had no pictures left to show you. Then last night I took my camera and went in the city.
Thinks are different at night...less noise...less people...more time to watch around.
