Mall La Fougetterie 3/7 & 4/7 - Blue theme day

Theme of the day: blue.

The series of pictures that I started to show you this week is on the main commercial center of Château-Gontier named "La Fougetterie".

The pictures were taken at night.

This image is a blend of two pictures taken vertically.

The left is a light in the parking lot, one on the right a piece of the building lit by blue lights.

As Kate said, very creative. Lovely geometry and shades of blue :). Happy theme day!

Ton montage est très réussi, on ne voit pas qu'il s'agit de deux photos séparées. Et on se demande bien où l'on se trouve!

A tie with Bleeding Orange in Grenoble, for the best blue-theme picture I've seen so far today. Very creative, giving the impression of a modernist painting.

I'm sure this was v difficult to photograph. So effective and well done.

The collage worked just great (at first I thought it was only one picture) producing a great graphic pattern. Well done!

Thanks for comment. Answer to your question. You know the photographic filter, right? PL filter is one of that and very special one.
PL (polariser) is used for adjusting colour contrast and controlling the reflections from the surface. It dos not alter any colour like RED/BLUE/GREEN filters used for B&W films. So, you can use this for both colour and B&W. there is another special filter called ND (Neutral Density) which only control the amount of light coming through.

Those two filters are must have for creative photography (IMHO).

I guess Wiki gives you better explanations.

What a creative post for our theme day. I think it is my favorite interpretation of the theme. Well done. It is like a work of art.
