Here is the entrance of Parc Saint Fiacre in Chateau-Gontier. Parc Saint Fiacre lived two buildings of Hall of Haut Anjou (subject to a publication recently) and Hall calves. A few years ago the market calves from Chateau-Gontier was one of the largest in Europe. Here the doors that allowed to control entry and exit of buyers and sellers of calves. The market always takes place on Thursday but unfortunately diminished its importance and its influence is only local.

Salut Laurent !

I like this pattern of buildings in b&w. Also happy 500th post! Quite an accomplishment.

As to your question about my picture. It's a bit of both. The orange of the door & window are pretty close to reality as it is bright on it's own. The wall was a splotchy gray so I pumped up the contrast & added a bit of texture to give it some life. I burned around the edges of the photo to bring the focus in.
